Practising our Catholic faith at School

We celebrate our Faith in many ways throughout the day:

1. We say a prayer to start our day and before meals. We think about people that we want to pray for and share our intentions for God's blessing.

2.  We attend monthly assemblies, liturgies, and masses where we come together with other students to celebrate our faith, seasonal events (Christmas, Easter etc) and our successes as students in a Catholic School.

3.  We learn about the Catholic virtues by reading and discussing stories about Jesus. 


     

4.  We explore the curriculum in "In God's Image" through stories, activities and discussions.

5.  We are encouraged to act in a way that is kind, loving and supportive to others.

Prayers to Begin our Day

God in Heaven, hear my prayer,

Keep me in Your loving care.

Be my guide in all I do.

Bless all those who love me too.
Amen

Jesus bless us in all we do.

Help us love and learn from you.

Grant us peace when we work and play.

Help us be more like you each day.

Amen.

Lunch Prayer

Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you, God, for everything!

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day
Our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those
Who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Angel of God,
